S5730-HI series switches ('S5730-HI') are Huawei's newly developed next-generation agile switches that provide all-gigabit access and 10GE uplink ports and come with one or two extended slots for expansion of uplink ports. S5730-HI builds on Huawei Versatile Routing Platform (VRP), and uses the Ethernet Network Processor (ENP) fully programmable structure to implement SDN functionality and enable service change on demand. By converging services and networks, S5730-HI provides the Free Mobility feature to ensure consistent user experience. Its Super Virtual Fabric (SVF) feature virtualizes the entire network into one device for simple management. S5730-HI also provides flexible Ethernet networking options, comprehensive VPN tunnel solutions, various security control methods, intelligent deployment, and simple O&M. As such, S5730-HI is ideal for the access/aggregation layers of large and midsize campus networks and the core layer of campus branches and small campus networks.
